What is Commvault Cloud Rewind?
Recovers whole cloud applications on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud to a point in time, rebuilding their configuration as well as their data. It came from Commvault's 2024 acquisition of Appranix.

What it does
A cloud application is more than its data: it's networks, security groups, load balancers, databases and the settings that join them. Cloud Rewind captures point-in-time copies of all of that, so after ransomware, an outage or a bad change you can rebuild the application as it was, instead of restoring data into an environment you have to recreate by hand.
It discovers the resources that make up each application and keeps copies in sync, which replaces much of the infrastructure-as-code teams would otherwise write and maintain just for recovery.
