What it does
Backups hold years of an organization's data, which makes them useful for AI and analytics, but copying backup data into other tools without controls creates risk. Data Rooms gives authorized users a governed place to find trusted backup data, prepare it and share it with internal or external AI platforms and data lakes.
It was announced for early access, with general availability targeted for early 2026; confirm its status before you plan on it.
