What is Commvault Cloud Unity?
The name of Commvault's November 2025 platform release, which combined data security, cyber recovery and identity resilience in Commvault Cloud. It's a release, not a product you buy.

What it does
Commvault Cloud Unity is what Commvault called the platform release it announced in November 2025. It brought data security (built on the Satori acquisition), cyber recovery (Synthetic Recovery, Cleanroom and AirGap) and identity resilience into Commvault Cloud.
There's no separate Unity product or licence. If a proposal or roadmap mentions Unity, ask which specific features it means and whether each one is generally available in your deployment.

- Commvault CloudCommvault's platform for backup, recovery and cyber resilience across on-premises systems, SaaS apps and the major clouds. It replaced the separate Metallic brand in 2023.
